About Keiko (koko)
Born and raised in Japan,
my journey bridges ancient traditions,
corporate professionalism and creative arts.
In my mid-twenties, I made a life-changing move from Tokyo
to Nara Prefecture, serving as a shrine maiden (Miko)
for a couple of years at the sacred
Tenkawa Daibenzaiten-sha Shrine
immersing myself in the practices of mindfulness and purification.
Following a personal triumph over severe chronic illness
through inner healing, I built a successful 20-year career
in the global corporate world and later established
my own baking studio in Tokyo.
In 2015, I relocated to NY, where a natural awakening of healing energy in my hands inspired me to launch my professional practice in 2018.
My session space name "imakoko"
comes from my nickname "koko"
and "ima" which is an important word of ”Zen”.
ima = now
koko = here

It is my mission to help you return to your center
and find deep inner peace in the present moment.
